About Mike Myers
I have worked for nearly fifty years as an African Safari Guide and photographer. In that time, I was privileged to have seen and worked in many of the best wildlife areas in central and southern Africa. Throughout this time I have carried my cameras with me as a means of documenting my life. The importance of this has grown exponentially as I have got older. I say this because I believe, as an individual, one needs time to develop as a photographer. This is more true now than ever with the advent of digital photography, where the photographer has personal control of the critical moment, at the time of capture and then post-processing an image to present it to the world.

My African Landscapes
This book is the result of forty years of work, even though most of the images come from the last twenty. I have felt the need to use some of my old images, scanned from slide. Knowing now what I want to do as a photographer, I realise that what I searched for creatively all those years was right in front of my nose: the photographs I have chosen for the book from that era show that I had been doing that kind of work all along!
Once the purchase of the book is confirmed, an invoice will be issued with payment details and will include shipping. I use a local courier in South Africa and DHL for all others.
